I'm glad my extended family makes no attempts to contact me.
Because they're all kind of stupid. And this is my haughty un-wise teenage side coming out, but it seems like they just keep proving to me how dreadfully conniving Satan can be to lead them away.
Whatever.
Oh my goodness, this sounds exactly like the way I feel right now. Except my extended family - on my dad's side - actually does attempt to contact me. At least my (step-) grandmother does, when she feels guilty. And I've felt quite haughty myself today, regarding them. When dear grandma sends ME and email asking for MY MOTHER'S salsa recipe, I get ticked. ASK HER YOURSELF, lady. Or do you not realize that you actually have a (step-) daughter-in-law??
